  • Back pain
  • Breathing difficulty, shortness of breath, or choking
  • Car accidents
  • Change in mental status (such as unusual behavior or confusion)
  • Chest pain
  • Continuous bleeding
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood
  • Deep or large wounds
  • Head or spine injury
  • Fainting or unconsciousness
  • Falls from a height greater than 8 feet
  • Ingestion of a poisonous substance (Call Poison Control 800-222-1222)
  • Near drowning
  • Oxygen saturations below 92%
  • Missing vaccinations and fever above 102.7F
  • Severe burns or smoke inhalation
  • Severe or persistent vomiting
  • Sudden, severe pain anywhere in the body
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness, or change in vision
  • Sudden injury like a motor vehicle accident
  • Suicidal or homicidal feelings
  • Testicular torsions
